Installing the dishwasher and sink
IKEA recommends you put the sink on the countertop before you install the countertop. This is excellent advice, because their clips won’t work from beneath. Admittedly, the sink and plumbing are heavy enough to hold a sink in place and with everything secured, it won’t move, but I had a very grumpy afternoon trying to fit those damned clips. Also, N.B: if your dishwasher electrical line (or range hood, microwave, etc) is hardwired, put a plug on it. Being able to remove the dishwasher and unplug it for service is a lot easier than dealing with a hard wire install. I don’t know why everything doesn’t come with a plug and socket…
Right side, Microwave, Cabinets Wall, Refrigerator and Range. Install assembled appliances. I picked up the cabinets this weekend all assembled. Sink has all plumbing and Garbage disposal and all fitted. As I am typing Will microwave fit or requires Tile removal or we just put the hood? Also the counter top old was with tiles. I picked up teh Counter top as well. All pre-cut we need to trim in sides so max 3 cuts need to be made ..
